Marva Smith is...
Just who is Marva Smith will be released in a series of projects. The first is a pandemic EP recording that she and her producer brother, V’ Dollas created while quarantined at his family home. The EP is aptly named “Cabernet” because it was recorded while drinking lots of the wine and writing soul-wrenching lyrics.
The first single on the Cabernet Project was released in early 2021, “Rhythm and Blues.” The visual will be released in Summer 2022.
The singer-songwriter is very transparent in the songs and wanted a project to present her unique sound to the world.
The second single on the Cabernet Project was released in summer 2021, entitled “My Girls.” This song is an homage to the women who have supported her through her ups and downs—They are her tribe. “Sometimes, the water may not be as thick as blood, but it sure is better for you.” IYKYK
